Animal Services
The City of Emerado Animal Services department provides the following assistance to all residents and is dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community. All of these services are provided by the Emerado Police Department.
- Responding to stray animal complaints
- Investigating dangerous animals
- Impoundments
- All animals that are impounded will brought to the Circle of Friends Humane Society
- If your pet has been brought there, you will have THREE days to claim it before it gets put up for adoption

- Barking dog complaints
- Trapping nuisance wildlife and loose livestock
- Carcass removal
- Ordinance enforcement
