ATTENTION: WATER SERVICE LINE SURVEY REQUEST
4/24/2024
The City of Emerado is in the process of completing a water service line inventory due to new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and State of North Dakota (NDDEQ) requirements.
This comprehensive inventory is required for the City of Emerado to remain in compliance with the Lead and Copper Rule. Lead is a toxic metal that can negatively affect your health over time, and we are committed to reducing exposure in our community and protecting public health. Our compliance with these regulations will also ensure that funding can be pursued to remove lead as quickly as possible.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Our mission is to accurately inventory our entire system using the most cost-effective and least intrusive methods possible. You can help by filling out the short survey linked below! Your detailed response and photo submission will prevent us from having to enter your home, pothole, or dig a trench in your yard!
The civil engineering firm, Burian & Associates, was contracted by the NDDEQ to assist the City of Emerado with completing our water service line inventory. As part of this effort, Burian & Associates has developed a step-by-step survey that you can complete on any electronic device (computer, tablet, mobile phone). Below is an ideal example of the photo submission requested in the survey.
