To the Residents and Businesses of Emerado,
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your strength, resilience, and generosity in the aftermath of the recent EF-1 tornado that impacted our community.
In the face of sudden damage and disruption, you came together without hesitation—neighbors helping neighbors, businesses offering resources, and volunteers stepping forward to support cleanup and recovery efforts. Your actions are a powerful reminder of the spirit that defines Emerado.
While the storm left its mark, it also revealed the very best of our community. Whether you were clearing debris, assisting those in need, or simply offering a kind word of support—your contributions have made a meaningful difference in our recovery.
On behalf of the entire city leadership and emergency response teams, thank you. We will continue working hard to clean up, restore and rebuild, and we remain committed to ensuring our community is stronger and more prepared for the future.
With sincere appreciation,
Jake Lanes
Mayor of Emerado, ND.
